I am honored to have been invited to share my work with my art therapist colleague (Ms Phylaine Toh) on how we managed to combine the ART and SCIENCE of Pharmacy – literally – through the development of an Eduverse (aka educational metaverse) for the training of pharmacy learners. Our Eduverse is called “MAGIC“, which stands for Metaverse Art Gallery of Image Chronicles, and it showcases how patients’ lived experiences of their medication journeys are portrayed in the form of heroes and villains. We hope to use MAGIC to train empathic responding and narrative competence in our pharmacy learners. Join us in this session where we will showcase our transdisciplinary collaboration on how we utilized Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) and the Metaverse to combine the fields of Clinical Art Therapy and Pharmacy Practice!
