MediCrafter is a supportive, imaginative expert generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) character builder for patients and healthcare learners based on their medication experiences. Created as part of a digital health humanities project, MediCrafter will design hero-villain characters that are symbolic and representative of the user’s lived experience of their chosen medication(s).
As MediCrafter does not create images/pictures, you can use the AI Image Generators below to create your character portraits based on the “AI image prompt” provided.
Please be aware that MediCrafter is still in development and testing, so the content it produces may contain errors or inaccuracies, and may not necessarily reflect the views of its creator. This is particularly relevant if any features are used outside their intended scope.

Use an AI Image Generator to Create Your Character
There are various Gen AI image generators that you can use to create your character. You can use one which you already have an account with, or register an free/trial account on their websites.
After you login with your account, you can input the description of your “AI image prompt” and set various parameters to get the visualization that best represents your medicaton character and symbolisms.

DeepAI has an AI Image Generator that you can use to create your character, after you create a user account.
AWS PartyRock has an image creator, which can be accessed via the menu list, after you create a user account. You can create your images in different sizes and orientations.
NightCafe is an AI art generator application that can create images of varying styles and complexity. Users can create their images based on different AI models, prompt options and art styles. By creating an account and logging in everyday, you can gain some daily free credits through a “quick create” art image.
Dream by Wombo is a simple AI art generator that creates card-sized portrait images. The free version only allows creation of one image at a time.
The image prompt textbox only allows a maximum of 350 characters (including spaces). If your prompt is more than the limit, you won’t be able to type/copy and paste into the textbox.
